BAKE A CAKE!

Well, today I'm going to share one of my favourite recipes and of course the easier one, which I'm sure most of you all will love to try!


 

Let Us Bake An Eggless Chocolate Sponge!



Ingredients Required:

• 200 grams ~ All Purpose Flour (maida)
• 70 grams ~ Sugar
• 4 tablespoon ~ Cocoa Powder
• 1/2 teaspoon ~ Baking Powder
• 1/8th teaspoon ~ Baking Soda
• 170 grams ~ Milk
• drops of Vanilla Essense
• 3½ tablespoon ~ Oil/Butter
• 1 teaspoon Coffee diluted in Water
• ½ teaspoon ~ Lemon Juice

 

Procedure:

  • Pre-heat your oven at 170° for 10 minutes.

  • Add ½ teaspoon lemon juice in 100 grams of warm milk and keep it aside to curdle.

  • Sift all the dry ingredients together. (All-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder)

  • Mix the wet ingredients in a separate bowl. (Milk, vanilla essence, oil/butter, coffee mixture)

  • Mix them together and give it a good whisk.

  • Grease your baking pan nicely. Then pour the batter into it.

  • Bake your cake at 170° for 20-25 minutes.



To check whether the cake is perfectly baked or not, poke in a toothpick or a Cake tester and see if it comes out perfectly clean. If it does, that means your cakes has been evenly baked!


Take out the cake from your oven, let it sit and cool down to room temperature.


You can top the sponge with Chocolate Ganache/Whipped Cream or some Icing Sugar.


To make a mug cake, you can simply reduce the recipe to half and mix everything all together in a mug.
