Appreciation

Writer: booksbutlifebooksbutlife

Hey you guys!! Long time no see!

I am really sorry for being off and not posting anything.

Well well well, not that I‘ve stopped it or so, let’s just get back to it :)

So, appreciation, something that EVERYONE ONE, every single human being or even dogs lol, seek, is so damn necessary. And you know who actually realises the value of appreciation, the one who wants it and doesn’t receive….

I am that kind of a person..

I would do literally anything if I know I can get appreciation in return.

Certainly, it is wrong to do something with the motive of getting anything in return but, c‘mon, we all want something. Some people might seek recognition, some might want money. But I, I personally like being appreciate.

Ive got this from my dad. He LOVESSS being appreciated and that too over and over again xD. Whereas my mother believes in silent recognition, which never satisfied us. We seek admiration via words and acts.

Since past few weeks, Ive been struggling a hell lot due to some reasons. And I’ve done everything according to me that is appreciable. But, as always, I am not getting appreciated by my mother. And that PAINS…

I always believed that one should behave with the person in front of them the way THEY ARE. You can do a number of things for the person, but until THEY value it, it is worthless. I knew it from the beginning that yes my father seek appreciation when he does something so I try to hype him up. And he does the same cause he knows what it feels like to do something and not getting a verbal-reward after that.

Similarly, yonks ago, it happened with my when i was in a relationship, i tried everything in my power to make them happy and JUST wanted appreciation in return but, uh-uh, did not get it and that DEMOTIVATED me from doing anything further.

Evidently, this is what happens with us. WE STOP. Which is as toxic as hell but we just dont find it worth enough to do something.

As per me,

Appreciation KEEPS ONE MOTIVATED

Understand the person next to you, understand what he/she seeks, understand what makes them happy. You can not deal the person standing forward to you the way YOU are.

Some of you might have heard the name of SISTER BK SHIVANI, a very renowned spiritual teacher.

She believes that every human being has their own SANSKARS, sankskar in Hindi is usually referred to the brought up, to the values given to the child by their parents. But, Sister Shivani believes that they are just deep rooted habits of ours which are so rock solid that it is near to impossible to alter. So as she continues, that as every person has their own sanskars, we can not call any of them wrong.

Supposably, if one person gets offended too easily, we can not call it wrong, or say that this aspect in you is erroneous, WE need to take care of ourselves there to not offend the person in any way. Here, we UNDERSTAND the person..

We do not handle the people around us the way we are with everyone. People like me, who are clingy, are called WRONG as per the non-clingy ones. That is nothing but unfair..

All i want you to know is, DEAL THE PERSON YOU CARE ABOUT the way they want to be treated, the way they are comfortable with. Appreciate them if they like it, or if they are the way my mom is, the one who believes in silent appreciations, give that to them. Dont do what YOU want from others. That is what an understanding person would do.

So wrapping up my blog here, JUST INVEST TIME IN KNOWING THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU AND RESPECT WHAT THEY LIKE OR DISLIKE INSTEAD OF CHANGING WHO THEY ARE… :)

That is it for today, and again, i apologise for the oblivious gap i gave. Will try to be regular again :)

Till then,

Take Care Of Everyone Near You.

Appreciate Who Deserve.

Make People Smile:)
